Well, I'm dreaming of fruit and vitamins after a good three days of living off roasts, chocolates and beer… And it's turned up in my doodling. Though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't try eating this banana, something a bit rotten about it!

Do you ever start doodling an idea out and then get stuck in it for days, then weeks... The older I get the more obsessional I seem to get about following an idea. This week it has been nothing but eyeballs... I think I'm on number 11 now, and to be honest I think it's finally running out of steam, or I'm just running out of ideas on what I can do with an eyeball! So here is part one. Meet Columbo. Yes, I have spent three days drawing imaginary monster characters, and yes I'm going to subject you to them all. This one needs a name. After going back to it a few hours later I realised he probably needs trousers too

Voodoo, you do? It is frightening how these little voodoo doll characters drew themselves. I think they may be alive! It's a worry when you have a chat with a child about dinosaurs and they say they should skateboard, but have their baseball cap turned backwards and have sunglasses on and only skate on one leg, cause I can see that straight in my mind and I couldn't resist making a little mascot logo design of a Diplodocus riding a skateboard. The only thing I couldn't work out is how to make him do the thumbs up sign, cause Diplodocus' don't have thumbs! Maybe I should go back to the drawing board with the thumb idea, but this was so much fun to get down and design. The kid loved it, so next time I go over to see her mum and dad it looks like I'll be doodling dinos doing all sorts of things!
