I've started a new mixed media sketchbook. Which is often times unexplainably daunting. To get over it I just dive in with lots of color. Then the fun begins.
In response to this week's drawing prompt: Instead of drawing my house, I drew the house from the movie Knives Out. The house acts almost as a character in the movie, setting the stage for one of the best murder/mystery films I've ever seen.
I have quite a bit of traveling planned this Summer...from NYC to Copenhagen to Venice to Berlin and a few more spots. Very much looking forward to all the different colors, cities, and cultures in the coming weeks.
This is my second version of this drawing. If anyone has an opinion on which version they like better, I would love to hear it. (Sorry, you have to go back several pages of my uploads to see it.)

The sketchbook doodle that turned into something special. To this day, it’s still one of my favourite drawings.
