I started practicing gesture drawings using a variety of methods, also using references from the interwebs.

Pencil drawing I did of my family’s dog, Kiera. This was done for my neighbour’s birthday as a gift who is like a third grandmother in the family - she’s always loved Kiera. gonna be putting up older reference drawings. I don't draw humans well, thus practice occurs.

I tried using blue again, i like it better when it comes to these types of drawings (eyes, trees, buildings) but i will definitely be using black for creature and animal drawings. Let me know what you think, comment any tips for improvements, or even just to say what you do like about it; feedback is welcome on all my art.

Sorry about the lighting, but it’s still pretty clear. I decided against the rope in its mouth. I despise colored pencils and don’t really like how they look on most drawings. So I just tried to finish this as fast as I could.
