I wanted the eyes to look real and the rest of her to be more abstract. Made of shapes, patterns and colors. Inner shapes and forms that we see if we look at a person closely.
And most of the time, imperfection is the way to see the balance of life. It's where you see and understand the most beautiful lesson that we will carry upto the end of our existence.
This was my submission for the Doodle Addicts ‘Doodle Caravan’ competition in 2019. Some real world characters also made it in there. Try and spot Kerby Rosanes, Mr. Doodle and Mr. Bingo!
A3 The fish (scale- and eyeless) swam into a motley selection of patterns filled into a scribble/string. Done with graphic pens and watercolour pencils blended with water.
Folktale Week Day1: Home. This is a folktale about the ghost of a woman who lived at Heceta Head Lighthouse Her baby died when she fell off the cliff outside their home. Tragic!
