This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. Pasted in my art journal. I had to "stretch" the 98 lb canson xl watercolor paper first. I'm new to this, but finally got it right. started to "buckle" a bit while painting then flattened back out when dry, but kept it taped down till dry. lots to lea
This is part of an ongoing series. This time we pass through The Great Exhibition and meet the different characters there to view art or just to socialise and hang out.
Wow! I was invited to spend the day in the recording studio drawing the creation of a jazz album. I will be going back to my studio to create the album cover art for the project. Included are few photos of my process drawings from the session. It was an amazing experience to spend time with these incredible musicians. I will share the final results at a later date.

I mean fed. Like I said:
Peeps are happy to be eaten 'cause it's never all that long,
Monsters do the number two and poop them back onto the lawn.

This is that black and white doodle from the other day, all colored in! I want to eventually make an adult coloring book, maybe this could be one of the pages? Just a thought!
