Digital is great -- for composition and color. But for line art? I don't think I can ever give up the fountain pen. This was drawn with a Sailor King of Pen (M) and Sailor 1911L (EF) fountain pens using Pilot Black ink. Yes, sacrilege. Pilot ink in a Sailor. But I have some Kiwa Guro arriving soon!

Essentially what this "Secret Sketchbook" project is, is a sketchbook that I use for my Patreon, that I make doodles in for my patrons, then once I have enough pages, I make it into a zine! I'm currently in the process of getting the very first secret sketchbook printed now, and starting on the second one which will be more exclusive until it's complete!

This is a new series of contemporary paper collages realised using a mix and match of new and vintage paper. I used: • Vintage paper ephemera (old postcards, paper cuts, portraits) • Recycled paper from envelopes • Brand new paper cuts • For the decorations I mostly used marker pens, stickers and washi tape.

I started a sketchbook 20+ days ago called "microenvironment(s)", where I explore the micro universe and automatic drawing. The rules are: 1. work on 1 page a day. 2. At 80 pages start back over working on top of the first page. 3. Do this 2 more t
