I am really a creative writer. But..in workshops I am always doodling while other writers have their "turn." Since the only paper available is my own manuscript, I create doodle marginalia, some of which have become, well, let's just say they are way beyond doodles! In some cases the random words on the manuscript make the doodle more interesting, absurd, or just silly. Those are the ones I love best.
