I am a beginner artist, who is going back to the basics and really putting time into actually learning the skill-sets for drawing, after having had a fairly successful run doing textures for IMVU as Imber. Doing textures for 3D modles taught me a lot about light and shading and color theory, but not much else. Now I am putting effort into figure drawing, learning gesture, proportions, and perspective. As I do this, I am hoping to get valuable critique, so that I can eventually build a portfolio. My interest is to eventually learn how to do comics or if I am ambitious enough, animation, so, my art tends toward a more cartoony feel, even when I am trying to draw from real life.
