Hello, my name is Hev Easley,
and I'm a doodle addict. Canary Islands, Spain

I have been painting flowers and sometimes landscapes for more than 50 years. I cannot live without being creative. It is a basic necessity in my life. I have sold many paintings but it breaks my heart to part with them as they have been created with love. Now I prefer to make journals that I and my family can always treasure. I like to paint with watercolour or acrylic , draw with my inktense crayons and pens and I have recently re-kindled a love of calligraphy.

I specialize in colored pencil, flowers, illustration, mixed media, watercolor.

I painted Van Gogh's irises on my kithen cupboard door. We needed to put a door on the space where the microwave used to sit but we couldn't get one to match the rest of the cupboards so we got a piece of board and I painted it with acrylic paints and varnished it.

I entered this one in the pre/post quarrantine challenge but it is part of my new journal. which will be full of flowers and flower quotations. Using Derwent inktense pencils.

Our beautiful planet needs our help. We must not take it for granted. I painted this with Inktense pencils, choosing flowers with poignant names to make us stop and think about conservation.
