In celebration of the Lunar New Year, hoping this year will be as fun as a game of snakes and ladder! Symbolism: ladder (progression), coin (prosperity), flower (unfolding/bloom of new adventures), oranges (a fruitful year).

Imagining a cover design for an imaginary self help book. Case in point. LOL. // Playing with text positioning - putting "out" outside of the cloud text bubble for literal applied meaning.

For humour, this is what I imagine a talking oyster from England to be. Very English.

Pun play to encourage positive body image. Freckles, moles, skin tags. Love them or hate them, they are part of our body. As one who enjoys stargazing, I think that the dots on our body resembles stars in the night sky. Truly beautiful. Sometimes when I’m bored, I play connect the dots on my limbs, and they do resemble constellations.

I wanted to do a piece that turns an insult into something more motivational. For context, to be called a strawberry is associated with being weak and sensitive, as strawberries are soft and easily bruised.

For the Asian Tiger Moms out there. Fierce Eye - one stare and you know you need to behave Soft colour tone and lots of curve to the body - display of femininity Clouds - a powerful aura

That short lasting but deeply euphoric state to take you higher. Endorphins gives you wings.

I've come to learnt of an acronym to help me move forward whenever Fear is holding me back. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.

Inspired by the Irworobong design (korean palace folding screen) during my Korea trip. Since I made the trip in spring, with flowers abundant, I thought to use the five mountain peaks as five petals to form a flower.

Inspired by my recent trip to Korea, which I intentionally went this season to catch the cherry/plum/peach blossoms. As I observed the zigzagness of the tree branches, I see in it the number of roads/mis-roads I had to take, as someone unfamiliar with the land, to get to a good bloom spot. Which kinda reminds me of life. I felt I just had to do this piece.
