Let’s celebrate diversity! Our newest challenge is to draw yourself, whether it be a spot-on representation or a more creative and interpretative self-portrait - every selfie is welcome.
The only requirement, you may ask? Using crayons as the primary medium.
Inspired by Crayola’s new line of products, “Colors of the World.” This new set of 24 skin tone crayons have been formulated to better represent people around the world. The new collection will be accompanied by colored pencils and markers with an upcoming release date.
Everyone is welcome to participate and upload their selfie (US and International), but make sure to read the submission guidelines to ensure you qualify to be entered to win a prize!
VIEW SUBMISSIONSI am glad to see Crayola putting out these different skin tone crayons, 'Colors of the World'! I have mixed a few of the colors to create my self-portrait. My friends describe me as animated and goofy so rather than rendering my self-portrait realistically (which is a challenge in itself, in a medium I am not used to!), I created a some-what caricature of myself with the drawing utensil in my hair. And I couldn't help but add people-like silhouettes in the background using all of Crayola's Colors of the World!
Not necessarily. As stated in our guidelines, the public voting from the community helps bring the most popular art submissions to the top. Once the public voting is over, the editorial team at Doodle Addicts (along with the sponsor), will then vote internally from the top group of submissions.
You can delete and resubmit your entry anytime before the submission deadline. Just click on the “Replace Image” button below your submission (on the challenge page) to delete your original submission and replace it with your new one.
Yes, of course. We definitely encourage you to spread the word on your participation in this fun drawing challenge.
Yes! You can mark one, two, five or all of them as your favorite.
Any fake votes we catch will be removed. Let’s keep this fun everyone, the prize is just the cherry on top.
