Ladybug in colored pencil.
Gouache on paper, 5x7". Wanted to see how far I could go with simplification without losing a sense of three dimensional form.
Criticism welcome. I'm really trying to improve I keep thinking I am but I'm never sure. A lot of times I know I've gotten worse!
The nice young chap that came to fit my new smart meters had the excellent surname of Boom. Wouldn’t want to say that too loud in an airport.
First time attempting something with colored pencils, I have a lot of improvement in my future.
