I haven’t been motivated to draw lately, but I finally motivated my self to start a new project. This is a horse eye close up done in pencil

My friend Steve from the art studio suggested we do studies in blue in honor of the #lightitblue campaign. Just when I was needing some inspiration! These are the late afternoon tree shadows at the foot of my garden.

I doodled these mountains last night (Tuesday) while drinking a Modelo. It was great.

This piece was done in graphite. It took me about 6 hours over the course of a few days. I didn’t love how the rider turned out, but this was my first time drawing a rider so I’m not too upset about it ;) Let me know what you think! Constructive criticism is always appreciated! :)

All Done! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, but a few of the proportions are way off... but oh well. And I absolutely suck at manes(hair) soooo ya. Also I was curious, I’m thinking about getting some prints made of my artwork to sell, do any of you think you or someone you know would be interested in prints? Just curious, thanks! (HB pencil on a 139mm x 87mm postcard) It's not surprising that the pandemic would inspire me to do a work such as this. How could it not? It shows both the growing need for social interaction people have in isolation, along with the need to protect themselves. These two things have come together in a piece depicting a strange group of gate-crashing party-goers.
