My name is Miguel Moreno and I’m an oil painter and graffiti artist. I’m Colombian born and have lived in the United States my whole life. I currently reside in Miami, FL. I was exposed to art at a young age by my uncle, who was also an artist. I’m self-taught and have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Computer Animation. I have a unique style, mixing realism with graffiti in my art. I begin by layering my canvas with black oil paint, and once it dries I start sketching out the piece. From there I add the details of my oil painting to create my piece. Artists that I am influence by include my uncle Edgar Millan, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, M.C. Escher, Bob Ross, Kre8, Per One, Saber, T-Kid, Can2, Ces, Risk, Mr. Cartoon, Tex Avery, Disney, and OG Slick to name a few. Art has always been a part of my life, and I am so passionate I love that I am able to participate in providing for the art world. I give my heart and soul into all aspects of my art work in order to amaze my audiences, so you could say I give a piece of myself to each painting.
