Artist/Illustrator/Designer - lives on a recliner. I’ve been drawing pretty much my whole life. From an early age, I used to copy and take inspiration from comics like The Beano, TV shows like The Simpsons and computer games like Crash Bandicoot. I believe things like these (music, movies, TV shows and computer games) have continued to inspire me down the years and influenced my illustration style a lot. A few words to describe the artwork of Jonathan Oldfield (J.O.): - psychedelic, surreal, humorous, weird, bizarre, clean, and detailed. Sometimes his art can be bright and happy with sunshine and lollipops, sometimes it can be dark and evil with skulls and monsters, sometimes it can be in-between with a mixture of both. Jonathan’s unique blend of exaggerated cartoon forms along with detailed, pattern-like backgrounds, and clean, flat colours are a perfect platform in which to put across his inspiration; whether that be from music, movies, TV, computer games and much more.
Jonathan Oldfield has not set any favorites.
