Grayson is currently living and working in Shanghai, China. Originally he was born and bred in Fort Collins, Colorado and returns so often to detox from the Shanghai pollution and soak in the fresh mountain air. Although his background is in Mass and Visual Communications he now teaches art / design at a highschool and freelances for clients in Shanghai. He started Gray Monkey Studios when people realized they had design projects that needed to be done with no pay and he realized he had time to do it. Now he designs for a number of clients and stays busy with his own exploration of symbolism in illustration. He is currently teaching himself lino-block printing and graffiti, soon he hopes to open his own silk screen printing studio.
